Safety Leads the
Way to Efficient Production
(1st/2nd Quarter 2010)
|
A Message From |
|
 |
|
Leo A.
Vecellio, Jr.
Vecellio Group, Inc. President, Chairman
and CEO |
Working safely is the
first order of business for our Group. At every division and
level, we have safety training and monitoring programs in place
to make sure this message stays front and center.
We do not try to boost production by cutting corners on safety.
Such thinking is dangerous and foolhardy, and has no place in
this business. Even in the current down cycle, the answer is
always to work smarter, not take foolish risks.
Our supervisors take this vital safety message to heart. Every
day they take the lead role in keeping our employees and job
sites safe, and they deserve every bit of thanks we can give
them.
Our annual Supervisor Safety Awards, in which we recognize the
efforts of our supervisors with bonuses and certificates of
achievement, are just one way we express our appreciation. My
congratulations to everyone who earned an award!
As a Group, we applaud these efforts and encourage all employees
— management, staff and crew members alike — to keep up the good
work!
