Asphalt Plants Join ‘Green Diamond’ Certification List

Group facilities to receive 'Green Diamond' certification.

Six asphalt plants
owned and operated by Vecellio Group companies have been honored
with “Green Diamond” awards for their clean, well-maintained,
state-of-the-art facilities.
Known officially as the Diamond Achievement Commendation
for Excellence in Hot Mix Asphalt Plant/Site Operations, the certifications are
bestowed by the National Asphalt Pavement Association.
Ranger South’s Miami-Dade, FL, plant and VG Asphalt’s
Greensboro, NC, facility, both new plants, joined the list of Vecellio Group’s
Green Diamond recipients.
Ranger Construction’s Winter Garden, Fort Pierce and West
Palm Beach plants, and Ranger South’s Pompano Beach plant, were recertified as
Green Diamond facilities.
To qualify, nominees must comply with industry and
community regulations, maintain a neat appearance with attractive landscaping
and well-kept shops and yards, and emphasize safety and sound environmental
practices.
